BUO FULLDOME DESIGN is an independent production company based in Seville, specialized in fulldome films and immersive experiences for digital planetariums. With its own catalog of more than 25 educational and recreational titles, it is one of the most productive production companies in the sector. Its content covers astronomy, nature, history, and literature, available in several languages and adapted to fixed or mobile domes, establishing itself as a global benchmark in independent fulldome cinema.

BUO Streaming is a tool to manage and play fulldome content in digital planetariums. It provides access to copyright-protected videos via streaming or temporary downloads (maximum 3 downloads).
All our fulldome shows (films and video games) for planetariums are in fisheye format. The fisheye projector is the most common format in digital planetariums; some models are capable of covering domes up to 25 meters. It is a single projector placed at the center of the dome, while the audience sits around to enjoy the immersive experience.
Most of our fulldome videos (though not all projects) are available for planetariums in spherical mirror format, known as warp.
The mirror projector for planetariums is a popular DIY format; some models are capable of covering domes up to 15 meters. It is placed on the side of the dome, with the audience seated in front, leaving the projector behind them.
Our fulldome films cannot be viewed via streaming in multi-projector planetariums; in these cases, the client must purchase the license of the project in JPG sequence and adapt it to their planetarium.
At Buo Fulldome, we do not convert our films into this type of format.
